3. Shipping Methods & Delivery Areas

  • Standard Areas (Continental US):​ Shipped via major carriers (e.g., UPS, FedEx, USPS).

  • Remote Areas (e.g., Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories, International):​ Shipped via USPS, specialized carriers, or international services (e.g., DHL, FedEx International). Delivery times and costs may vary significantly.

  • Special Items:​ High-value, fragile, oversized, temperature-sensitive, or regulated items may require designated carriers or special handling. Requirements will be indicated on the product page or during checkout.

4. Order Processing & Shipping Timeframes

  • Orders placed and paid for before 3:00 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time) on business days (Monday-Friday, excluding US federal holidays) will typically be processed and shipped the same day.

  • Orders placed after 3:00 PM EST, on weekends, or on holidays will be processed and shipped within 1-2 business days.

  • Items marked with specific processing times (e.g., “Ships within 3-5 business days,” “Pre-order,” “Made-to-Order”) will ship according to the timeframe stated on the product page.

  • Processing timeis the time we take to prepare your order for shipment. Transit timeis the time the carrier takes to deliver it once shipped. Transit times are estimates provided by carriers and are not guaranteed by JumpStartMart.buzz.

5. Shipping Fees

  • Free Standard Shipping:​ Offered on qualifying orders shipped within the Continental US. The minimum order value required for free shipping will be clearly displayed on our website (e.g., during promotions or permanently).

  • Standard Shipping Fees:​ Orders below the free shipping threshold within the Continental US will incur a calculated shipping fee displayed at checkout.

  • Remote Area Surcharge:​ Additional shipping fees apply for orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories, and international destinations. The exact fee will be calculated and displayed during checkout based on the destination, package weight, and dimensions.

  • International Shipping & Duties/Taxes:​ Fees are calculated at checkout based on destination, weight, and value. Customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or brokerage fees levied by the destination country. These are not included in our shipping charges or prices.

6. Returns & Exchanges: Shipping Responsibilities

  • Company Error (Wrong or Defective Item):​ If we sent the incorrect item or an item arrives damaged/defective, we will cover the cost of return shipping and the cost to ship the correct replacement item.

  • Customer-Initiated Return/Exchange:​ For returns or exchanges due to customer preference (e.g., size, color, change of mind) within our stated return window (please see our separate Return Policy), the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. If an exchange is approved, we will cover the cost of shipping the replacement item to the customer.

  • Refused/Undeliverable Shipments:​ If a shipment is refused by the recipient or is undeliverable due to an incorrect or insufficient address provided by the customer, the customer will be responsible for all associated shipping costs (initial and return).

7. Risk of Loss & Title

Ownership (title) and risk of loss or damage for the products you order pass to you upon our delivery of the items to the carrier for shipment.

8. Prohibited & Restricted Items

We comply strictly with all applicable laws and carrier regulations regarding prohibited or restricted items. Certain items sold on our site may have shipping restrictions based on content, destination, or regulations. Customers are responsible for ensuring ordered items comply with all laws applicable to the destination. We reserve the right to cancel orders containing items we cannot legally ship.

9. Events Beyond Our Control

JumpStartMart.buzz is not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, pandemics, government actions, natural disasters, extreme weather, fires, floods, accidents, strikes, shortages of transportation facilities, fuel or energy shortages, or carrier delays.
